Memoirs written by the prominent New Mexico politician who became Secretary of the Interior in the administration of President Warren Harding. The original “fall guy,” Fall was fined and sentenced to prison for his leading role in the so-called “Teapot Dome Scandal" in which naval oil reserves were leased to his cronies without competitive bidding
