This is "Ted," a limited edition of 3,000, released in 1996 as an official collaboration between the German Steiff company, loved worldwide, and "Save the Children." This model was exclusive to the UK.
◆ Ted is wearing a red polka-dot shirt and yellow pants, with the "SavetheChildren" logo on his chest. He has a squeaker inside that makes a high-pitched "peep" sound when his tummy is pressed.
The fur on the back of his thighs is flattened from being seated.
